A BRIEF RECAP OF 24: 4:00 pm TO 6:00 pm

I missed the summaries, but understand the priorities.

I've enjoyed these past few episodes. These must have been the episodes ones written after the writers strike as it seems the storyline has picked up.

WHEN REALITY, INTENT, AND WEBSTER'S DICTIONARY DON'T MATTER

Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) -- the highest-ranking black congressman -- said opposition to the stimulus bill is "...a slap in the face of African-Americans." He was responding to a report that four southern governors with high black populations said they were not accepting some of the stimulus money. The governors have not said they would refuse the money, but were seeing what conditions were tied to receiving the money.

SHOULD PRESIDENT TAYLOR INVOKE THE 25TH AMENDMENT?

Did we meet Taylor's VP in "24: Redemption?" I don't recall that we met him/her.

SHOULD OBAMA RETAKE THE OATH?

The official photo of the second swearing-in shows Obama not resting his left hand on a Bible. Is a Bible required or is it simply tradition?

Purely tradition. Used to be required in court but not any more.

IN MEMORIAM

Are you planning on offering your take on "24: Redemption" when it is aired next weekend and also your weekly posts when the show resumes in January?

REPRIEVED!

I'm also curious why SecDef Heller is still alive. I suspect his role in the 2-hour season finale will be one of the loose ends to tie up. Maybe William Devane is signed on for next season.
